Family Matters, Matter

Star Cinema's "Seven Sundays"

As a family grows older, they take different paths in their lives. Families are being built and priorities are being set in a way that keeps them busy every day. Being in that phase is normal for everyone, but don't let your parents feel left behind due to your busy schedule. In my personal life, I value my family a lot. Therefore, I will do everything I can every single day to make time for them. My family values old Filipino traditions, which is why I developed this perspective. Just like in the movie, we take selfies or groupies to maintain a record of the moments as they pass.

A healthy relationship between family members is emphasized in the movie. It affirms the idea that "no matter what happens, this family will remain strong and happy". Filipinos usually celebrate achievements in the Philippines by doing a simple celebration. They show how grateful they are for celebrating and enjoying the food that they have. Due to the fact that families are our lives, they are priceless. Irrespective of what you think of things, whether they are books that you love to read or luxury items such as bag collections or shoe collections, if you aren't truly happy and content with your life, it is a massive waste of time, effort, and money because true happiness can only be found by you. Family is everything, and you should be proud that you have a family that you can turn to if you have problems. They can be your home if you are tired of everything. They can be your true happiness since they will always wait for you to come back if you feel alone.

We should be grateful to our parents for the day that we were born. As children, our parents take care of us, and as adults, they teach us how to be responsible. As well as understanding our difficulties, they are the ones who can give us advice. It will never get old for us to listen to our problems and help us solve them. I associate those things with my parents. I too cried watching this movie because half of our lives are spent under their guidance. The movie illustrates the importance of family as a puzzle. Although it might be rumbled into pieces, if you try to rebuild it again, that serves to show that you are still hoping that it will be fixed after some time, and hopefully, like our families, the image will appear complete once again.

Being honest makes a relationship strong. In the movie "Seven Sundays", the characters have problems that they can't tell others, most especially their family. Sometimes, we thought that it's better to hide our feelings than to release them. I know that it's difficult if we can't control it, but there's good in being honest. As we learn to be open to one another, we'll be able to understand each other, know who we really are, and build stronger relationships.

Seven Sundays is a movie about family. Personally, it is my most favourite movie because family is important to us. It touched my heart because I can't take away the fact that I can relate to the movie's plot. I love the message of the movie. Family is everything that we have and despite the conflicts, in the end, we will be the one helping each other out.
